"Times New Roman"">The 25th Roswell Remembers Memorial Day Ceremony\,
which has received multiple awards\, is scheduled for 11:00
A.M. on Monday\, May 27th at Roswell City Hall\, located
at 38 Hill Street.<span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:
"Cambria"\,serif;color:#111111">This annual event brings together thousands of
attendees\, who have joined the Roswell Rotary Club and the City of Roswell to
pay tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in
defense of our country. <span style="font-size:14.0pt;line-height:107%;font-family:
"Cambria"\,serif;color:#111111">The grounds will open at 10:00 A.M.\, featuring displays
and music provided by the Roswell
New Horizons Band. The program will include a military ceremony\, the
presentation of colors\, Honor Guard\, the singing of the national anthem\, the Pledge of Allegiance\, a POW/MIA tribute\, and the
solemn laying of the wreath.<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Cambria"\,serif;mso-fareast-font-family:
"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman"">Colonel Rick
White\, a Norcross native\, will be the guest speaker.
He enlisted in the United States Army in 1966 and served
in Vietnam for 24 months as an Airborne Infantry Company
Commander in the 173rd Airborne Brigade. His numerous
awards include the Bronze Star Medal for Valor\, the Combat
Infantry Badge\, and the Master Parachutist Wings. After 31
years of service\, he retired from active duty and was
later inducted into the OCS Hall of Fame in Fort Collins\, Georgia.
Currently\, he holds the positions of Director and Chairman
of the Board at the Georgia Military Veterans’ Hall of Fame.<span style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:"Cambria"\,serif;mso-fareast-font-family:
"Times New Roman";mso-bidi-font-family:"Times New Roman""> 









At the conclusion of the program\, a BBQ lunch featuring chicken and pork will be
served on the premises.
Tickets can be purchased on-site on the day of the ceremony. The Roswell Rotary Club and
