No Regular Meeting This Week
Join Zoom Conversation This Friday about District Grant Opportunity

Each year, District 6900 makes Rotary Foundation grant money available for projects in our community. Clubs need to identify projects and submit an application. Each club is generally eligible for a grant of about $1700 - we have used this for a variety of projects - last year to help fund our holiday book project at Dresden and Kingsley In addition, there is a competitive grant available for up to $10,000, Applications for both types of grants are due by May 15.

This Friday we have no regular meeting but are inviting all interested Dunwoody Rotarians to a Zoom meeting to discuss what we'd like to do with our grant - and what we might consider as a project for a competitive grant. Some of us have held informal chats about serving the Alzheimer's victims and their families, perhaps through a Respite care at a local church.

Please join Louise Barden and others in this initial discussion and bring your ideas and information. Join us on Zoom at 7:30 am at https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84704156193?pwd=VTVZUkcwVWU5OUZmSzZmOENNNk82UT09

Rotary Youth Exchange Needs Your Help!

Rotary Youth Exchange is the program that hosts and sends high school students to another country for a school year. Our club will host a female student for the 2022-23 school year (August - May). We need host families!  The only requirement is that the hosts live in the Dunwoody High School school district.  The commitment is for about three months - we are looking for hosts for August - early November and early November - February.  Please contact Deb Cameron if you have interest, a recommendation of another family, or any questions!  dsc630@gmail.com.

Thank you for your support of Rotary Youth Exchange!
