Take a Look Back at Our 2023-24 Rotary Year

Join us at the AC Hotel this Friday when President Jack Sparks and some of our officers and Board members take a look at all we have accomplished during this Rotary Year. And in the meantime, enjoy the photo of Jack and his family taken at a special Christmas event during Lorri Christopher's 2015-2016 Presidency.

FUN is Our Middle Name
Don't Miss Out on Our End-of-the-Year and 40th Anniversary Party Next Week

RCD turned 40 last month and we're planning a BIG celebration on Thursday, June 20 as part of our End of the Year celebration. Food, fun and fellowship have been hallmarks of our past - and this event will be no exception. We'll relive some special moments from the past while we celebrate Jack Sparks' year as president and welcome in the future with President Elect Louise Barden and her leadership team. Remember to wear your airplane hat (just kidding, the hats you see in the photo were part of our costumes for the 2006 "Rotary: The Next Generations" Startrek theme).

You and a guest are invited for an evening of complimentary beer, wine and soda along with a buffet dinner. Be sure to RSVP to Matthew Johnson, and to let him know if you have any Dunwoody Rotary alumni you would like us to add to our list; be sure Matthew has their names and email addresses.

Fun and Community
Join the Dunwoody Family of Rotary on July 4!

We are thrilled to invite you to participate in the Dunwoody Fourth of July parade, Georgia's largest Independence Day parade, a cherished tradition we've proudly upheld for nearly 30 years - rain or shine! This week's photo is from 2015, when President Lorri Christopher and DG Bob Hagan walked the parade route umbrellas in hand!

Event Details:

  • Date: Thursday, July 4, 2024
  • Time: 9 AM
  • Theme: "Red, White & YOU"

Volunteers are the heart of this event! We need:

  • Float Decorators (1-3 days prior)
  • Parade Walkers
  • Hot Dog Stand Volunteers
  • Float Breakdown Helpers

For Parade Walkers, contact Denise Brodsky at denise@clubhouseatlanta.org. For other volunteer roles, reach out to Paula Shiver at paula@perimeterchamber.com.

Bring your family for a day of fun and fellowship!
