Join Us Thursday to Celebrate Two Rotary Years

This Thursday night at the Dunwoody Country Club, we will celebrate all we have accomplished during Ardy's year as President and look forward to a year with Carter and his team of officers. The event begins at 6:00 pm with fellowship and food. At 6:45 pm, we will open the Zoom line to anyone who wants to attend remotely - and we'll have some awards for Ardy's year and install Carter's leadership team.

We have 55 people signed up to attend in person. If you want to join by Zoom at 6:45 pm, use this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/81564165125?pwd=T0ZPeXZ2bUNsa2lqVXJaSnZxRmc0Zz09

Longest Running "New Year's" Party
Join the Dunwoody Family of Rotary for Independence Day!

It's 30 years since we started sponsoring the Dunwoody Independence Day Celebration! This year, the celebration takes place on Monday, July 5. It's a great way to celebrate America and our community - and a great way to start a new Rotary year with our Rotary Family!

  • We will march in the parade with a float that celebrates Rotary International's 2021-22 theme - "Serve to Change Lives" - and welcome you and all family members to walk, ride bikes or scooters in the parade and hand out Dunwoody Rotary balloons! There's likely to be a balloon fixing party on Sunday, July 4.
  • You can help in our hot dog stand - as a decorator, cashier, cook or sous-chef, or by making baked goods to sell in the booth.
  • You can bring your family out to enjoy our hot dogs, the parade and all the festivities in the Dunwoody Village parking lot.

Whatever you decide, we promise a good dose of fun and that you will be on your way by noon! Drop a note to Anne Glenn at adillardglenn@gmail.com or Jackie Cuthbert at cuthbert@mindspring.com if you'd like to join the fun!

Fellowship Opportunity
Join Dunwoody's New Wine Fellowship!

Join the Dunwoody Wine Fellowship and enjoy wine on the Barden's deck in the trees - June 29 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

Please bring a favorite summer wine or nonalcoholic drink or an appetizer (finger food). We will have cups, ice, water, napkins etc.

Please let us know if you are planning to attend by registering on through our club calendar. You can also call Ron and Louise Barden at 404-423-8226.

We look forward to seeing you on the 29th! And ask about the photo while you're there.

In Memoriam
Remembering Rev. Dick Games' Mother and Sister

We are saddened to inform you that Dick Game's mother Suzanne and sister Pam passed away in early June. A Memorial Service will be held for both Suzanne and Pam this Thursday, June 17th, at 7:00pm at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church. The Rev. Scott Kidd, Rector of The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection, Sautee-Nacoochee, Georgia will preside.

Pre-registration for the service is required - you can register online to attend.
