This Week's Speakers
GRSP: A 40-Year Dunwoody Legacy of Impact and Fellowship

This Friday, join us at LeMeridien to celebrate the Georgia Rotary Student Program as we hear from Yemariam Workneh, our 2019-20 GRSP student from Ethiopia, a new graduate of Oglethorpe University heading off to pursue a career with non-profits. We'll let her share the details of what's in store for her immediate future and what the GRSP opportunity and Dunwoody's support means to her.

Yemariam will be joined by our own Ardy Bastien, currently serving as an Assistant Governor in District 6900 to talk about being a GRSP host family. Ardy, Lydie and Chloe hosted Maro Innocent-Otolo from Nigeria, and have hosted students for the leadership weekend. And Jackie Cuthbert, many time host family for GRSP, chair of our upcoming GRSP Leadership Weekend (February 9-11, 2024), and newly elected Secretary of the Georgia Rotary Student Program will take a quick look at Dunwoody's history with GRSP and our future.

By the way, Lorri Christopher has been elected to serve as a director for the GRSP Foundation, after completing her six-year term as Secretary. And, we will be joined Friday morning by Katheryne Fields, Executive Director of the Georgia Rotary Student Program.

Thanks to the Book Bag Crew!

Another worthwhile Rotary Club of Dunwoody community project, packing book bags for individual students and families with Tapestri. Thanks to new member Alison Norris for leading the charge, and to all the Rotarians, Atlanta Rotaractors, spouses and our kids as well as other volunteers.
