Join Us for Thirsty Thursday at Crowne Plaza Ravinia

Join us tomorrow for Thirsty Thursday at Crown Plaza Ravinia Parkviews restaurant. The fun and fellowship begins at 5:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

While we have your attention, next Friday's meeting will be at Maggiano's - NOT THE EMBASSY SUITES - and our speaker will be Buzz Law, who will give us an update on the Rotary Club of Dunwoody Charitable Fund. We'll remind you again next week!

Fellowship and Service Opportunity
Join the GRSP Leadership Weekend Experience - Feb. 14-16

We'd like to invite you to share the magic of the Georgia Rotary Student Program at our GRSP Leadership Weekend February 14-16. Meredith Morris and Jackie Cuthbert are co-chairing this event - and it's an opportunity to meet nearly 40 students from more than 20 countries! We need all the help we can get to make this a great weekend for students and Rotarians alike. It's a Dunwoody signature project with a 25-year history! Pictured: Last year's food packing for Rise Against Hunger - the 10,000 meals students packed went to Ukraine.

You can host students and/or volunteer to be part of the team that makes the weekend happen. That might include helping with set-up or food service on Friday, loaning us games for Friday night game night, helping organize snacks and lunch on Saturday, packing meals for Rise Against Hunger (Saturday morning) or helping with snacks or clean up on Sunday morning. There are also dinners Saturday night in Rotarians' homes and you could attend and volunteer to help.

Fellowship Opportunity
Put Yourself in the Spirit of Golf

We know Bob O'Brien and his team will be talking to us soon about our annual Fore the Memories Golf Tournament (by the way, the date is Monday, May 19 so save the date). To get yourself in the spirit - and if you're thinking about any special events - consider attending the opening celebration for Puttshack in Dunwoody. They are thrilled to be open in Dunwoody and want to show what they have to offer. Please join them to experience Puttshack's offerings with a preview of our world class food & beverage and of course some tech-infused mini golf!

The event takes place Thursday, 1/23 from 4:30-6:30pm - with gourmet bites, innovative cocktails, and a sneak peek of what’s to come. Spots are limited and on a first-come, first-served basis, so make sure to RSVP to Kasheena Waites, Event Sales Representative at (404) 369-1765 ASAP to secure your spot!

And who knows, maybe we'll gather there for a future Thirsty Thursday.

Rotary Means Business
January is Vocational Service Month!

As Rotarians, we have a unique opportunity to apply the ideal of service to our professions, encouraging high ethical standards and fostering goodwill across all vocations. This month, we focus on how our work can positively impact society and contribute to community growth. Let’s inspire each other to elevate our standards, share our talents, and give back to our communities!

"Each Rotarian is a connecting link between the idealism of Rotary and their trade or profession.” -Paul Harris
