As you are aware, Acworth Expanding Horizons Foundation received a community grant from NCRC. Part of their grant request included service project opportunities for NCRC.
Let's talk about the foundation...
WHO? Expanding Horizons Foundation
WHAT DO THEY DO? They create a positive and supportive environment for local youth. Their mission provides educational assistance, recreational activities, mentorship and foster servant leadership.
WHAT THEY NEED FROM US? Volunteers will help paint 3 indoor spaces that are used for After School programming for Acworth Youth. Paint and supplies will be provided by Expanding Horizons but NCRC members can bring any paint equipment you may have if you prefer to use it during the project. Walls are currently painted concrete block.
